Ongoing one-man show, co-written/co-devised with Scott Payne. High-culture meets silly character-comedy in this one-man show that charts nine decades and dozens of characters in less than an hour. An epic tale of the life, loves and death of a loser with a floppy claw. Experience the life of Simon Jay from his death to his birth from the perspective of all the people who met him on the way.

part of the Nerve FM broadcast BIRSt Radio was commissioned to record a series of horror-comedy shows Directed and Conceived by Simon Jay, Written by Simon Jay and Matthew Reynolds, Produced by Christopher Pike & Hannah Rolfe. Featuring the vocal talents of: Natalie Jade-Bartel, Charlie Boddington, Henry Fozdike and Ben Nardone Originally broadcast on Nerve FM 97.3 at Midnight.

Written/Directed for double-bill consenting adults. Wilde's Importance of Being Earnest redubbed with a sinister conversation.

2011 Edinburgh Fringe Show I Conceived and Devised with Christine Edwards, Matthew Reynolds and Ben Nardone. A play about a review show that goes horribly wrong. Described by National Student Drama Awards as 'A hard sell and a hard pitch'. The show was based on an earlier idea I made at university for student television: http://www.youtube.com/encult (rated 4/10 by NASTA) Further to my fascination of reimaging and reworking projects, the idea is soon to remade with Chinese cast as ('galaxy of culture').
